What the housing here means for your door
Housing in Craig Ranch is mostly 1960s to 1980s.
Older North Las Vegas neighbourhoods, mixed single and double doors, with a fair number of original installations still in service. Openers built before 1993 predate the federal requirement for photo-eye safety sensors, so an untouched unit of that age may have no sensors at all - it reverses only when the door meets resistance, if the force setting is still correct. That is the single most important thing to establish on a door here, ahead of whatever the customer originally called about.
That is a general description of the area, not a diagnosis of your door. What is actually wrong is settled by looking at it.
